From Aisle to Isle: Your Wedding in Paradise

Every year, I travel to various Sandals and Beaches resorts, ensuring I'm up-to-date with my Certified Sandals Specialist education and training. These regular seminars and visits allow me to best assist my clients in selecting the right resort for their personal travel plans, destination weddings, honeymoons or special group trips. I thought I would share some of one of my fantastic learning experiences with you! These photos are a snapshot of my trip to the Barbados resorts.
In October 2018, I had the opportunity to attend the “Aisle to Isle” seminar at Sandals in Barbados. Sandals Barbados is unique, being their first resort on the island. Sandals then added a second resort on the same magnificent property which is Sandals Royal Barbados. You may stay at either resort you prefer, and you get to enjoy the dining and activities at both of the resorts, including seventeen delicious restaurants to savor (yes, seventeen)!
We had a full itinerary that included tours of the different types of luxury rooms, delicious meals, activities, entertainment and classroom training.
The incredible Sandals chefs outdid their selves with this “death by chocolate cake.” The most decadent chocolate dessert I have ever had. Our friend Martin was more than happy to dig in! The sticks around it are dark chocolate dusted with cocoa powder.
The final night was a festive masquerade party featuring a dynamic band, stilt walkers and multiple international food stations around the ballroom. My favorite station served fresh lobster tails on the grill. This event was a fabulous representation of what can be exclusively available at Sandals for your special wedding or event.

There are fifteen Luxury Included Sandals Resorts on the Caribbean Islands of the Bahamas, Jamaica, Antigua, Saint Lucia, Barbados and Grenada which are for couples-only. Beaches by Sandals Resorts are for groups and families and there are three resorts, located on the Islands of Jamaica and Turks & Caicos. I have been to all of the eight islands that feature these fabulous resorts and I have been to almost all of the resorts with just a few more to go!
